When it comes to practice, you will always be paired with trusted, cooperative partners—often other women or experienced students who know exactly how to train safely and respectfully with beginners.
Expect a warm welcome from our team! We will give you a tour of the facility and introduce you to your instructor so you feel completely at home. For your first trial class, simply wear comfortable activewear (like a t-shirt and leggings or shorts without zippers or pockets) and bring a water bottle. We will provide everything else you need to have a fantastic first experience.
Not at all! This is a very common misconception. You do not need any prior fitness, flexibility, or martial arts background to step on the mats. Our beginner classes are designed to let you pace yourself. You will naturally build core strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility over time while getting an incredible full-body workout.
